Iraqi gays in "hell on earth"

According to this article, political and religious groups hunt, kill, and torture gays in Iraq. The main objective is to kill everyone who was thought to be gay. These groups do not believe in being gay, and deny these people their rights. Men and women who are perceived as gay are considered to be a danger to society and religion. Instead of protecting these people, they are murdered on the spot or handed over to militias who kill them. Other suspects are forced to give information such as names an addresses of gay Iraqi men and women by being threatened of being arrested. Activists continue to be arrested and killed. Refuge Iraqi gays that were in safe houses in Syria have been forced to be sent back to Iraq. If outside governments do not help the Iraqi gays, many more men and women will die.
